On the 15th–17th of August, the Ardud Citadel will come alive with echoes of tradition through a vibrant cultural event financed by the HUSKROUA program, ID HUSKROUA/23/S/2.2/022, in the frame of the project with the acronym PROTECT. The event aims to highlight and revalorize traditional culture by presenting it in a modern and engaging context.
The program is structured in two main parts. The first part is dedicated to authentic traditional music, showcasing local heritage and preserving cultural identity. The second part focuses on the reinterpretation of traditional music through modern rhythms, featuring various artists and bands who blend old and new influences.
The overall purpose of the event is to bring generations together, attract young people, and encourage them to rediscover and appreciate traditional culture in a contemporary form. At the same time, the event creates a space for intercultural dialogue, artistic expression, and community engagement, strengthening the connection between past and present while ensuring the continuity of local traditions.
