The BLOOM project, with a total budget of 975,079.11 EUR (including 877,571.19 EUR in EU contributions), is being implemented by the Suceava County Council as the lead partner, in cooperation with the Kolomyia Central District Hospital of Kolomyia City Council (Ukraine). Over the next 24 months, the project will focus on developing healthcare infrastructure to improve public health and access to quality medical services, with an emphasis on telemedicine.
A Ukrainian delegation, including Mr. Andrii Koshkin – Hospital Director (CEO), Mr. Ihor Koba – Medical Director, and Ms. Larysa Kulyk – Director of the Institute of Development of the Kolomyia Community, visited key departments such as Pediatric Surgery, Recovery, Physical Medicine, and Balneology, as well as the operating room at the “Sfântul Ioan cel Nou” Suceava County Emergency Clinical Hospital. The visit underscored the importance of raising funds within hospital units to improve medical services.
Key objectives of the project include equipping medical facilities with advanced technology, improving the capacity for healthcare delivery, and fostering cross-border cooperation among healthcare professionals. The project will have a lasting impact on healthcare services for minors in both Romania and Ukraine.
We congratulate the project partners on this important achievement and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of the BLOOM project.
