Round Table in Nyíregyháza: Secure and Effective Borders in Carpathian Region (HUSKROUA/23/S/3.2/018)

Representatives of public authorities, border and customs services, experts, and partner organizations from Ukraine and Hungary will participate in the event to discuss current issues related to the functioning of border crossing points at the Ukrainian–Hungarian border.

During the roundtable discussion, the results of familiarisation visits to border crossing points will be presented, the current situation at the border will be discussed, and the structure and key components of a strategic document aimed at improving the efficiency and security of border crossings in the Carpathian region will be introduced.

Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in thematic expert presentations and an open discussion on the next steps for the development of border infrastructure and cross-border cooperation.
