On September 22–23, 2026, the Final Conference and concluding working meetings will take place within the framework of the project HUSKROUA/23/S/3.2/018, implemented with the support of the Programme.
During the events, the key results of the “Secure Borders” project will be presented, along with materials developed by the international expert group and project partners. The central outcome of this joint effort will be the presentation of the “JOINT STRATEGIC PLAN for Strengthening Border Security and Cross-Border Cooperation along the Ukrainian-Hungarian Border.”
The event will serve as a platform for discussing the Joint Strategic Plan and gathering proposals and recommendations from representatives of competent authorities, local governments, professional institutions, experts, and other stakeholders with the aim of further refining and finalizing the document.
The event will allow participants to:
- familiarize themselves with the results of the “Secure Borders” project and participate in the presentation and discussion of the draft Joint Strategic Plan for Strengthening Border Security and Cross-Border Cooperation along the Ukrainian-Hungarian border;
- learn about strategic projects and promising initiatives identified by the partners and join the discussion on future directions for cross-border cooperation;
- strengthen cooperation networks among partners and institutions in Ukraine and Hungary.
