Baia Sprie brought together artists from Romania, Ukraine, Hungary and Slovakia for an International Painting Camp organised within the Bridging Borders by Culture project. The activity created a shared space for artistic expression, intercultural dialogue and the discovery of the cultural and natural heritage of the project area.

During the four-day programme, 20 participants, including five visual artists from each partner country, had the opportunity to work together, exchange artistic experiences and find inspiration in the local identity and landscape of Baia Sprie.

The camp concluded with a public exhibition at the Baia Sprie Cultural House, where the artworks created during the activity were presented to the local community and visitors.

Through art and direct interaction, the event strengthened connections between the four partner communities and demonstrated the role of culture as a powerful instrument for sustainable cross-border cooperation.
