Launching an innovative project aimed at boosting CBC & infrastructural project development in cross-border partnerships across HU, SK, & UA, this initiative tackles a critical gap in strategic planning & project management skills among local communities, especially the small ones.
By focusing on cross-border partnerships for infrastructural projects, the project aims to catalyze substantive cross-border collaboration & leverage underused potential in these regions.
The project sets out to enhance the institutional capacity of 21 local communities from the border regions, fostering at least 10 sustainable cross-border partnerships within a year. This effort aligns with Objective 3.1 of the NEXT Programme, aiming to spur regional development & cooperation.
Key beneficiaries include local officials, community leaders, & project managers, who will gain access to intensive training & mentoring, partnership building events. This initiative promises to empower them to initiate, plan, & execute impactful cross-border infrastructural projects, directly addressing local needs & promoting economic growth.
What makes this project stand out is its unique focus on infrastructural projects & feasibility studies—a niche often overlooked by existing PCM training programs that tend to concentrate on soft projects. Through tailored training modules & practical mentoring, local municipalities will not just learn theoretical concepts but will also acquire hands-on skills crucial for the successful realization of significant infrastructural projects & building effective partnerships.
This project is not just an advancement in CBC; it’s a pioneering step towards effective regional development through meticulous planning, partnership, & project execution, setting a new standard for local development initiatives. We are seeking to transform our regions seeing projects as catalysts for growth, not mere tasks, forging dynamic partnerships through shared efforts. United, we will flourish!
