Project’s objectives
The primary objective of HICART II is to improve the visibility of the Carpathian Cultural Route as an integrated cultural heritage product. This will be achieved through various activities, including:
• Expanding the cultural heritage network by adding 12 new members.
• Organizing cross-border trainings, experience-sharing programs, and cultural events to strengthen skills in cultural tourism.
• Developing digital promotional materials, a multilingual website, and an updated mobile application to enhance regional and international visibility.
Project’s expected results
The project will achieve the following measurable outcomes over its 24-month duration:
• Establishing a Steering Committee and expert groups in both Romania and Ukraine.
• Conducting 4 training modules, 2 experience exchange tours, and 2 international conferences.
• Creating updated trilingual promotional materials, including a CCR Guide and training manual.
• Installing 12 tourist information boards for newly added network members.
• Enhancing digital tools, including an updated website and mobile application.
Project’s significance
HICART II supports the preservation and promotion of local culture, fosters regional cooperation, and creates better conditions for tourism development. By increasing awareness of the Carpathian Cultural Route, the project will attract more visitors to the region and stimulate investments in cultural and historical sites.
