NGO “CINEMA AND CULTURE DEVELOPMENT”

Zakarpattia has historically maintained strong connections with its neighboring countries, influencing the daily lives of its residents and enriching the local culture.

The Kino Susidiv festival presents a cultural cinematic experience that connects individuals from various nations. It features films from Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and also from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Austria, all of which share historical ties and collective experiences with Zakarpattia.

In times of war, we all have come to understand the true essence of good-neighborliness—not just within households but also among nations. When neighboring countries unite to assist one another and combat a shared adversary, borders become insignificant, emphasizing our collective duty to remain humane and support those in need.

The festival has been held annually since 2022.
