Objective:
To foster entrepreneurial activity among youth aged 18–35, with a particular focus on vulnerable population groups. The project aims to engage at least 900 young people in educational events, mentorship programmes, and a business idea competition. It is expected that at least 60 participants will develop ready-to-launch business projects. Key Activities: Youth Entrepreneurship Status Study A comprehensive analysis of youth involvement in entrepreneurship in three regions: Zakarpattia (Ukraine), Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County (Hungary), and Košice Region (Slovakia). Results will inform the adaptation of training content to the specific contexts of each area. Establishment of the Youth Business Laboratory Creation of a physical and/or digital learning hub for young entrepreneurs. Curriculum Development Design of tailored training content for aspiring entrepreneurs, covering topics such as business niche discovery, branding, team building, marketing, and financial planning. Recruitment Campaign Information sessions, opportunity presentations, and an open call for participants. Target: minimum 100 motivated applicants interested in launching their own business. Training Bootcamps in Each Country Three regional 3–4-day intensive bootcamps for selected participants (including those from vulnerable groups). Expected attendance: 50 participants per country. Focus on business skill development and business idea generation. Educational Exchange Visits to Business Sites Exploration of innovative entrepreneurship models, impact investing, social enterprises, and transformation of industrial sites into modern business ecosystems. Participation: at least 90 people. Mentorship Support One-on-one guidance to refine business concepts, finalise business models, prepare for pitching, and support access to funding (e.g., Diia.Business, grants, etc.). Business Idea Competition A pitching contest for participants to present their finalised business concepts before an expert panel. Selected projects will receive further assistance in refining proposals and applying for funding. Start-Up Support Ongoing consultation and practical guidance to support the implementation of the most promising business ideas during the early stages. |
