Cross-border health in practice: join TESIM’s upcoming thematic event

How are cross-border cooperation projects improving healthcare services in border regions? What practical solutions are projects implementing to address common health-related challenges?

These questions will be at the centre of the upcoming online thematic event “Cross-border health in practice: what difference are projects making on the ground?”, organised with the support of TESIM.

The event will take place on 30 June 2026, from 09:30 to 12:00 CET via Zoom, bringing together projects from five Interreg NEXT programmes – Black Sea Basin, Hungary–Slovakia–Romania–Ukraine, Romania–Ukraine, Romania–Moldova and Poland–Ukraine.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from project practitioners and explore how cross-border cooperation contributes to improving healthcare in border regions. Through project testimonials and moderated discussions, the event will highlight practical experiences, common challenges and the added value of cooperation across borders.

The programme will focus on three thematic areas:

  • improving healthcare services for people;
  • strengthening healthcare readiness and response;
  • expanding access to healthcare through prevention, skills and digital solutions.

The interactive, networking-oriented format offers an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, gain inspiration from projects implemented in other border regions and connect with peers working on similar challenges.
