The “Border Security Synergy” project aims to strengthen cooperation between the Suceava County Gendarmerie Inspectorate and the mobile units of the Ukrainian National Guard. One of the key objectives is the realization of a Joint Action Plan, which will align the procedures of the two institutions involved and allow efficient interventions in the border area.This plan will be put into practice through joint trainings, workshops and tactical applications, in which teams will learn to work together in a coordinated way to maintain public order and manage events with cross-border impact.
In the current geopolitical context, characterized by tensions in the region, the need for effective cooperation has increased considerably. The project responds to this reality by jointly training forces from both countries and by strengthening the presence and intervention in the border area.Through these actions, the project contributes to better security in the region and to increased trust between partner institutions and local communities.
