The UA-HU-TRAINING project enhances health education capacities on both sides of the border. The Central Hospital in Miskolc will modernise its Skills Laboratory and Vocational Training Centre by acquiring advanced simulation equipment and organising vocational trainings in areas such as in-hospital resuscitation, venipuncture, cardiac catheterisation, and brain catheterisation. First aid courses will also be offered to the general public.
Meanwhile, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University will establish a new training centre for basic healthcare skills, equipped with modern teaching devices. This centre will serve not only university students but also paramedics, police officers, and emergency personnel. Training topics will include therapy, nursing, simulation-based care, surgery, traumatology, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, and neonatology.
The project also includes the production of training videos in English, Hungarian, and Ukrainian, as well as regular professional workshops to share good practices and improve training methodologies across borders.
